How long have you been in business?
After more than 10 years in the medical equipment field and 20+ years in the clinical emergency medical field I opened Freedom Life Safety, Inc. in April 2013.
What is your primary product or service?
We represent several different manufacturers of new medical equipment designed to be used in the pre-hospital, hospital, clinic and home environments. Our focus is on cardiology and EKG/ECG units.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I was involved in EMS for more than 20 years in the Rochester area. Starting out as an EMT and eventually the paramedic program. I have worked in urban and rural EMS services and truly loved every minute of it. Ten years ago I made the switch from EMS to medical sales and found the perfect combination.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
During business hours we always answer the phone; we are consumers too and understand how annoying the automated services can be. If we are not available we always make every effort to return calls in under an hour.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Currently we have one location and being primarily internet based (to keep our overhead low) we do not currently have plans to expand. We may be looking for warehousing opportunities in the near future however.

As we are an internet and inside sales company we do not have a store-front.
What type of payments do you accept?
All major credit cards (Visa, Amex, Discover, Master Card), PayPal and money order/bank check.
Which areas do you service?
We offer our equipment to EMS services, police, fire, hospitals, physician offices, clinics, obstetrical practices, laboratories and training facilities.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Matt Hall is our Owner/President
What are your hours of operation?
We are available by phone, fax or email from 9 am to 5 pm E.S.T.
