How long have you been in business?

What is your primary product or service?
we sell daylilies and some hostas. primarily daylilies with 2000 cultivars on display and 1000 cultivars for sale. What you see is what you get sales approach in the gardens. and web site sales available. we also cater to some landscape professionals
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
we have always had a love for perennials in the garden and strived for plants that bloomed all season long. We were introduced to the daylily in 1995 and due to its's different seasons found that you could have flowers from late May untill September. our collection grew from 7 to 50 in two years and by 2000 we had 150 different ones in our gardens. at this point we started to sell from the yard to help pay for our daylily addiction, and the rest is history.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
customer can come and look at the exact flower that they want in our sales beds. Seeing the real flower is always better than buying from a picture in our opinion. The plants are freshly dug on the spot thus "what you see is what you get". plant prices vary from $5 to $55 with the majority in the $5 to $10 range.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?

chek our web site for a map and directions. To get to 557 Sand Hill road you take Center st. off of west main which is across from our Fire Department and go straight at the fork in the road.
What type of payments do you accept?
at this point we accept checks, pay pal, credit cards and cash.
Which areas do you service?
we ship anywhere in the USA via priority mail. so all shipments arrive within 3 days
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Dennis and Mary Quackenbush owner operators.
What are your hours of operation?
may 15 to sep15 for shipping. last Saturday in June to second Sunday in August for on site sales closed Monday Tuesday, open Wed thru Friday 9 to 6 and Saturday Sunday 9 to 5. OTHER TIMES BY APPOINTMENT.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
Repeat customer, bring a friend, word of mouth is very helpful.
