How long have you been in business?
We opened Murcadom Corporation in June of 2010 to help US companies take advantage of opportunities in the US Hispanic Market and Latin America.
What is your primary product or service?
Our primary focus is to help US manufacturers build and manage an effective distribution network throughout Latin America. We have an office in Guayaquil, Ecuador with a staff of Spanish speaking reps who are managed by our team in Canandaigua, NY. The combination of local, Spanish-speaking reps with US management works very well for our clients in the United States.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Jason Murphy is the President of Murcadom Corporation and he has been traveling and doing business all over the world. A native of the Rochester area, Jason returned from an extended stay in Latin America to help US manufacturers overcome the common barriers to entry into the growing markets of Latin America.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Many export management companies have a limited physical presence in the region where they conduct business. With offices in both North America and South America, we maintain a strong connection with the business and cultural worlds of both regions.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently have an office in Guayaquil, Ecuador and Canandaigua, NY. Our next office will most likely be in Brazil, the largest country in South America and a very important emerging market.

Our US office is located at the airport in Canandaigua. Please call ahead if you would like to meet. In Ecuador we are located 5 minutes from the airport in Guayaquil. If you would like to visit us in Ecuador make sure to combine your trip with a visit to the Galapagos islands. We would be more than happy provide additional details.

Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
We are owned by a private investment group.
What are your hours of operation?
Our office in New York is open by appointment only. Out sales center in Ecuador operates M-F 9 AM to 7 PM.
