How long have you been in business?
Wags and Whiskers Pet Sitting was started in Oct 2008.
What is your primary product or service?
Wags and Whiskers Pet Sitters is a pet sitting /dog walking business and much more. Our services include pet sitting (daily and overnite), dog walking, kitty transport service, house watching, mail/newspaper retrieval and even plant watering. Our services provide an alternative to boarding or depending on friends and relatives to care for your pets while you are at work, away from home or just don't have the time to provide some TLC (Tender Loving Care). We are located in Penfield, NY and service the areas of Penfield, Fairport, East Rochester, Webster, Pittsford, Brighton and limited areas of Victor, Rochester and Macedon.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I decided to start this business after working in Corporate America for far too many years. I wanted to do something that I could be passionate about and that would allow me to work with animals. I currently have three cats (Bud, Harley and Kahula) and one dog (Brandy) so I know how much your furry family members can mean to you. I treat mine like children and I will do the same with yours.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I wanted to start a business where I could continue to use my business skills but also work with my true love, animals. I know how important our pets are to us and how we all treat them like our family (maybe even better than we treat family). They give us so much unconditional love and pleasure that we want to give them the very best of everything. That is why Wags and Whiskers Pet Sitters was created. I want to provide the best and most comprehensive service available, as such, I am Red Cross Pet First Aid certified, have completed Lollypop Farms Feline Behavior Counselor Training, am a member of Professional United Pet Sitters and insured through Pet Sitters Associates (PSA). I also travel with a fully stocked Red Cross Pet first aid kit just in case something unfortunate should happen.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Currently Wags and Whiskers Pet Sitters is a one person business.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, checks, money orders as payment. In the future we will be adding the use of PayPal which will allow you to pay with a credit card.

We are located in Penfield, NY and service the areas of Penfield, Fairport, East Rochester, Webster, Pittsford, Brighton and limited areas of Victor, Rochester and Macedon.
